Global Impact
EFM is directly engaged in Africa, Asia, and the US to empower holistic mission and development projects among the most vulnerable. All initiatives are undertaken with local partners, through local church networks, NGOs, and government and business leaders.
Promotion of energy efficiency in US churches helps support EFM’s own global initiatives. Our sister organization Energy for Purpose (EFP) contributes 40% of its profits from energy studies in the US toward supporting our projects throughout the world.
Global Impact
EFM is directly engaged in Africa, Asia, and the US to empower holistic mission and development projects among the most vulnerable. All initiatives are undertaken with local partners, through local church networks, NGOs, and government and business leaders.
In the US, we have performed over 5,000 energy studies, freeing up over one million dollars in savings for mission and development projects throughout the world and helping churches promote sustainability. Promotion of energy efficiency in US churches helps support EFM’s own global initiatives.
Our work in the DR congo
We are pioneering the Tuungane Project in eastern Congo (DRC), restoring communities and leaders through the local church. Led by Marcel Serubungo, we are mobilizing local churches to bring spiritual and social wholeness to a region damaged by decades of war. Promotion of energy efficiency in US churches helps fund the Tuungane Project.
